Important Note!
Dear Friends,
El Dustberry is in transition at this time. On September 1, 2009, the non profit moved out of Camp Josepho. El Dustberry's lead teacher and Equine Manager of 2 1/2 years, Cheyenne Price, has taken over all equine operations as well as our beloved horses - the equine programs at Camp Josepho are now all Cheyenne's and her new business name there is "Rustic Canyon Ranch". El Dustberry will work in conjuntion with Rustic Canyon Ranch to continue providing quality Outdoor Classroom Programs. El Dustberry also will continue to serve cancer patients and their families on a free service basis, but at a new site in Agoura, which will be announced in the very near future. All other therapy clients will be referred to Cheyenne (Rustic Canyon Ranch) for services.
El Dustberry will continue to fulfill it's mission statement, but is readjusting due to economic factors.
We still welcome donations, but ask that they be sent to the office address.
The website will soon be modified to reflect all the changes, but for now, I will leave it as is- a beautiful testimonial to serving the community with much love, passion and devotion.
with gratitude,
Robin Rapaport

"Learning and healing through horses and nature"
El Dustberry Makes a Difference!
El Dustberry is a unique ranch retreat.
Originally located in Topanga Canyon, El Dustberry has now relocated to Rustic Canyon, nestled in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains in the Pacific Palisades.
El Dustberry’s new home is the Boy Scout’s
Camp Josepho.
Our mission is: TO PROVIDE A NATURAL ENVIRONMENT, AND THE OPPORTUNITY AND TOOLS TO EMPOWER INDIVIDUALS BY MAKING LIFE ENHANCING CONNECTIONS WITH HORSES, NATURE, OTHERS AND THEMSELVES.
In our fast-paced blur of a lifestyle, life presents itself as a series of challenges- emotional, mental, spiritual and physical.
At El Dustberry we slow the pace down and facilitate a connecting process through the spirit of the horse and through nature.
We provide a loving, nurturing environment where Gentle and Natural Horsemanship lessons emphasizing bonding, relationship and trust between human and horse, enable individuals and their families to develop patience, focus and the ability to relax and release tension.
A place where people learn about who they are, self-empowerment and their relationship to others and the world around them....
